The Savvy Swapz Sweatband by Glaam Inc.
Like some of you I don’t always enjoy working out, but this girl’s gotta do what she gotta do! Now, I don’t know about you, but I hate the “sweating the hair out” look. As some of you ladies know, working out can do real damage to our hair styles which we work so hard to maintain. We need a solution. Does The Savvy Swapz Glamorous Sweatband live up to the challange?
The Savvy Swapz Sweatband Review
Manufactured by Glaam Inc., the Savvy Swapz Sweatband was created as a solution for wicking away perspiration in order to protect our hair. It comes with a hang-tag which immediately tells us that there are “no more excuses when it comes to saving your hair doo”. What I like about this sweatband most is the bling, of course! It’s subtle and not too shiny, but just enough to give it some flair. Made from hi-tech wicking material, it handles sweat like a pro, so we can keep up with our workout goals.
I tend to perspire very heavily around my forehead area, so I’m always looking for something that can absorb without leaving a wet and uncomfortable feeling on my head.
This band is sporty enough to wear during a workout, but fashionable enough to wear during the day. It fits comfortably and has elastic which makes it easier to fit any size head – even a big head such as yours truly.
I used this sweatband while I was installing flooring in my new studio – yay – which was around 72 degrees. I started working up a sweat – hey, flooring ain’t easy! The sweatband did wick the sweat away and I didn’t have to pull it off, because it did not feel wet on my forehead.
Out and about one day with me mum, I snapped a few selfies wearing the Savvy Swapz.- the sweatband is pretty cute right?
This headband is machine washable in cold water. Don’t use bleach or fabric softener, and lay it flat to dry. Ironing and dry cleaning are not necessary and not recommended. I don’t know about you, but if I do start working out every day, I’d want my headband to be clean for each use. Therefore, I think I would just toss it in the sink with some cold water and a little Woolite, and then lay it out flat to dry overnight. I don’t think I would want to machine wash this everyday.
The band wears well and does not put a lot of pressure on my head like regular headbands. I was skeptical about using this one, because most headbands usually give me a headache due to tightness, but this one fits nice and snug without too much pressure. As far as I know, they only come in the one color, but it would be nice to have a selection of colors to choose from to match up with workout gear. . .but black always works!
I would definitely recommend the Savvy Swapz Sweatband for any fitness enthusiast, or any woman in general. They are fun to wear and lightweight. Made from 80% nylon and 20% spandex, this sweatband should hold up through washings and wearings. You can find them online at savvyswapz.com or if you are in the neighborhood, you can pick up one at ZenzaSpa Wellness Boutique in Englewood, NJ. You can also LIKE Savvy Swapz on Facebook.
