When it comes to removing makeup easily, I really like using an oil based cleanser. InstaNatural has a gentle and reviving deep cleansing facial oil that removes dirt, residue and make up easily.

When I want to remove makeup, I generally use a facial cleanser which is oil based, because it effectively removes my makeup. When I received this bottle of InstaNatural Deep Cleansing Facial Oil with a bonus bottle of InstaNatural Rosehip Oil to try, I thought the facial oil would be similar to that which I already use. However, this one is different.
It’s simple to use, but I must admit I don’t use it every day, because I don’t like using too many oil based products on my skin. However, when I do use this one, my skin feels really moisturized and it seems to remove the makeup and residue as promised.
As directed, I put a small amount on a cotton pad and gently wiped it all over my face in an upward motion. The pad definitely shows the residue that it removes, so it does cleanse the skin. However, I was not a huge fan of this procedure so I pumped a small amount on my fingers and applied it to my face using small circular motions. I could feel the makeup and dirt being lifted from my face. Afterwards, I took a hot face towel and wiped off any remaining product. That’s all to it.
Admittedly, it felt weird the first few times, because I am so used to cleansing my face with a foaming wash, and I felt like I had not really cleaned my face thoroughly. I vowed to use it for 10 straight days, with and without makeup. I thought that it would leave my pores feeling clogged, but after the tenth day I noticed no subsequent breakouts or skin irritations, and my face felt continuously moisturized.
As I mentioned before, I do not plan to use this product everyday, but it is a great cleanser for removing makeup. Not to say that this is not a good everyday cleanser, it’s just a personal choice. One great tip is that you can also use this facial oil to remove the oil buildup on your makeup brushes, and it works AMAZING for this application.
As a bonus, I also received a bottle of InstaNatural Pure Rosehip Oil. This oil is used to help minimize stretch marks and surgical scars. As for the face, Rosehip oil is also great for eliminating dark spots and hydrating dry, itchy skin, all while reducing scars and fine lines. A little miracle oil.
To keep this oil fresh and viable, it is a good idea to keep it in the refrigerator which helps it last much longer. This is a pretty big bottle (4oz) which should last a long time, so in the fridge it will go.
I have been using it on some surgical scars on my body, but unfortunately at this time I cannot say I have noticed a difference in the appearance of my scars. However, I will keep using it and if I see great results I will update my review.
I have mixed it with one of my facial moisturizers and I can say that it makes my skin glow after using it, and since I have combination skin, whenever those dry areas start to look dull. I can use this product on its own to liven up my skin. Like argan oil, rosehip oil is also good for your nails and cuticles. I love multi purpose oils such as this one.
