I HATE LAUNDRY! There – I said it. I said what most of us probably think. Nevertheless, I’ve still got laundry to do, and anything I can do to make the job easier is all right with me. How well do these laundry bags work? I put these bags to the test. First up, a load of laundry including more than a handful of my bandanas – I like to wear them around the house when I’m cleaning or working on projects. I hate when I throw them in the wash, because sometimes they get wrapped around other items. This time I threw them all into the medium bag and started the wash cycle. The spin cycle made the bandanas curl up on themselves inside the bag, but no worries. I threw the bag straight into the dryer and they turned out fine. It was nice to have them all in one place, instead of sorting through the clean clothes to find them. I must note that I did not hear the zipper rattling around neither in the washer or the dryer – perfect! 

Next up, my own little unique situation – cleaning my facial sponges. Normally I put them in the machine and wash them separately – once or twice to get extra use out of them and to clean and disinfect them.

I grabbed a medium bag and hung it up in my bathroom to use as a “hamper”. After using a sponge, I simply toss it in the bag until I have 20-30 of them and then I put the bag in the wash. It made this chore so much easier, because all I have to do is grab the full bag and toss them in the machine. These bags work great for. . .(clears throat). . . my unmentionables too!

Are these bags really worth it? Yes! Wash your lingerie, delicates, small items, or anything you can think of in these bags. They keep all of your items together and can save you time sorting and finding items once they come out of the dryer. Another great use for me is washing my vast amount of footie socks. Why? Because the sock troll cannot open the zipper and steal random socks, leaving me pairless.  All socks that go in the wash, come out of the dryer. No more missing socks!
