Great looking skin starts with clean skin. I’m going to share with you how you can cleanse your face in eight easy steps for healthier, more beautiful skin.

Most important: Clean your hands first!

Wet your face with tepid water.

Squeeze a pea-sized (less is better) amount of cleanser onto your fingertips and gently massage in a circular motion all over your face.

Wet your hands with remaining cleanser and rub together to foam up and apply to your face again in a circular motion.

Use a facial sponge or a white wash cloth to remove the cleanser. This will give you a gauge of any residue, makeup or dirt you are removing and help you avoid skin irritations from dyes.

Use a cotton pad with your toner to bring your skin back to its natural healthy pH level and remove any residual cleanser. You can also use a toner with cucumber and aloe, and spritz it onto your face. It is great for hydration and healing of the skin, and refreshing too!

Apply your serums if you use them. Again, a pea-sizzed amount will go a long way. My favorite serums are those that contain hyaluronic acid. Other greaat options contain L-Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and tocopherol (vitamin E).

Apply your moisturizer. Moisturize according to your skin type, and don’t forget to apply an SPF moisturizer for daytime, but never at night. I like to use a broad spectrum SPF with natural zinc oxide for the best protection from UVA and UVB rays.
Remember – Clean skin is Healthy skin!
