This 4th of July, I will be making the best BBQ ribs ever.  It is so easy to do, and takes so little of your time.  

Let’s get started.  This method works with regular ribs, or baby back ribs, which I will be using.  First I trim the ribs of any excess fat, but remember, leave a little bit on, because that’s what makes the ribs nice and juicy and flavorful.  

Preheat your oven to 250 degrees.  Next, season the ribs.  I use a rub that I make myself, or you can use a store-bought rib rub.  Season them however you like, both sides.  If you make your own rub as I do without salt, make sure you add salt to the ribs as well. 

Next, grab your plastic wrap. . .you heard me right!   Wrap the ribs securely in the plastic wrap and place the ribs on a baking sheet and let them cook for 2.5 to 3 hours.  Check them at about 2.5 hours to see if they are done.

Once they are cooked, remove from the plastic wrap.  I have used this method in the winter as well as the summer.  The only difference is in the winter when I cannot use my grill, I just add my BBQ sauce to the ribs and place them under the broiler to let the sauce cook and caramelize.  The ribs are already cooked, so they don’t take much time.

If you are grilling, just place the ribs on the grill and add the sauce. When using charcoal, move them to a portion of the grill where there is not too much fire and let them absorb that delicious sauce.  If using a gas grill, turn off one side and place the ribs on that side to cook, or just turn the flame down lower. With either method, just make sure you are not overcooking.

These are the most succulent, juiciest ribs I have ever had in my life.  Give this method a try, and I think you will agree that you have just cooked the best BBQ ribs ever!  Now go eat those delicious ribs!
