I don’t know about you, but I can never have too many moisturizers in my beauty bag of tricks, so when offered the chance to try Adovia Moisturizing Day Cream gratis in exchange for my honest opinion, you know I was all over it! How well does it work?

I’ll start with the packaging which is very nice. Just like we eat with our eyes first, product packaging can go a long way to making sales. I love the fresh clean look of the box and the jar itself. Reminds me of cool, clean water – which suggests to me that this product should be super hydrating.

Upon opening the jar, the first thing I notice is the fragrance. It has a fresh clean scent which is sort of floral, but not too overpowering. I really love the scent. This moisturizer says that it protects from the harsh daily elements as well as the sun, although nowhere does it state that it contains an SPF. For me, that is the most bothersome, but it does contain natural UV filters. I still use it as a base, and apply an SPF moisturizer on top if I am going to be outside (remember, always wear an SPF whether it is sunny or cloudy outside). As it states on the box, it really does make for a great make up base. 

Other interesting facts: Adovia Moisturizing Day Cream is hypoallergenic which is a big plus for my sensitive skin. It contains Dead Sea minerals, Aloe Vera, and Chamomile which is soothing and healing to the skin. Grape Seed oil is also on the list of ingredients which accounts for the rapid hydration this cream provides.  It is packed with minerals, anti-oxidants, and vitamins which are all beneficial to the skin.  The best thing is this product is cruelty-free and not tested on animals.

As for application, this cream goes on nice and smooth, and just a small amount will do the job. It hydrates and moisturizes my skin very nicely and my face looks great all day. I like to change up my routine every now and then, depending on the condition of my skin, but this is a product that I can use everyday.
