The Fourth of July is here at the time of this posting.  We celebrate our America with fireworks, grilling, going to the beach and other activities.  We decorate our surroundings with all things American. This is the time of year when most people become more patriotic than normal and American flags abound.  I ran across this story about our flag – 247 Years Of American Flags, Visualized. Here you can see the flag dating back to the Sons of Liberty’s rebellious stripes in 1767 to the flag we all know today.
