I love reviewing beauty products and after reading some great reviews about Oz Naturals, I was completely stoked when they chose me to try their Ocean Mineral Facial Cleanser.

Overall my skin is pretty healthy, but being a woman of a particular age, it’s almost a part time job keeping it looking youthful and maintaining a healthy glow. “She works hard for the skin care hunty!” 🙂

First off what I like about Oz Naturals is that all of their products are free of parabens, gluten lanolin, sulfates, mineral oil, and the big one – cruelty free.  Their products contain only natural and organic ingredients manufactured in their facility which uses 100% sustainable solar and wind energy. I’ll give you more information on Oz Naturals below, but first I want to tell you about the Ocean Mineral Facial Cleanser and how it worked for me.

This part is hard for me, but I have to admit that my Snack Pack (don’t they look oh so innocent) tried to eat my homework shortly after it was delivered.  I woke up that morning only to find the package in bits and pieces on the floor and the bottle of cleanser on the counter where hubs placed it before leaving for work. How they did this without him finding out before massive damage ensued is beyond me, but the damage was done!

In a panic I ran to the bottle only to find ¾ of the contents had leaked out onto the counter.  I can only say that the Snack Pack avoided me for the rest of the day, because they knew they were in the proverbial dog house!

Even though Oz Naturals sent me their product for free in exchange for my honest opinion, I decided I had to buy another bottle and try an “untainted” product.  Not to mention I no longer had the outer box or an intact bottle for my picture taking session.  Arrghh! I was too upset to even think about taking pictures of the destruction – sorry!

Now, with my new bottle in hand I had about two weeks to test it and the results are in.  I must say I am very glad I did order a second bottle because this is a great cleanser.  It is not subtle in scent – you definitely get a scent of the beach when you apply it to your skin.  It’s clear in color and it cleans nicely with a little bubbly foam – not super suds like some cleansers.  Best of all, a little goes quite a long way so this bottle should last for some time.

After a good rinse my skin feels soooo refreshed.  This very spa-like cleanser has helped to keep my blemishes at bay and my skin looks healthy and very hydrated. I’ve also noticed that my cheek and chin breakout area – not true acne but irritating nonetheless – has cleared up and remains blemish free.

If there is one con about this cleanser it would be the fact that I cannot get it too close to my eyes which are very sensitive.  I don’t believe it is the liquid itself, because I have never had any get directly into my eyes.  I think it is something in the scent that causes the reaction.  It’s not a blatant burning, just a slight bit irritating.  However this is not so uncomfortable as to deter me from using this product – I simply close my eyes and wash around that area last. Just be careful and test it around your eyes before you lather it on.  I will say that the effect from using this cleanser far outweighs that little eye issue.

Overall, I just about adore this  facial cleanser. I no longer have dry skin around my chin, my blemishes are gone and my skin looks and feels fabulous.  My experience may be different from others, but I think you’d be happy to nourish, repair and replenish your skin with Oz Naturals Ocean Mineral Facial Cleanser, because it works great for any skin type so there’s no guess work here.
