I have been using a whole host of natural beauty and body products, and also started crafting my own scrubs and rubs for personal use and for gifts. Once I learned about fractionated coconut oil use as a carrier oil, I was truly excited to give Majestic Pure Fractionated Coconut Oil a shot.

When I started making sugar scrubs, I initially used olive oil as my carrier oil, but with some of my scrubs, the smell was faint, yet present. The cost of olive oil was pretty expensive as well, so finding another alternative was key. I started using regular organic coconut oil, but it melting it for easier mixing added extra work to the process. Since the fractionated oil is in liquid form, it should save me a lot of time, right?

Out of the plastic bag packaging, I immediately notice that Majestic Pure has supplied me not only with a regular screw cap, but a very hand flip top squeeze cap too. This is great for those times when I only need a small amount. it also relieves my fear of leaving an open bottle on the counter, only to knock it over and spill all of my valuable oil.

Majestic Pure Fractionated Coconut Oil is a fantastic carrier oil. I’ve started using it in my sugar scrubs and it works so much better than regular coconut oil. Unlike coconut oil that has the consistency of shortening, there’s no melting and no mess. Easy peasy! 

I like using fractionated oil, because it is odorless, unlike olive and other oils. I have also used it to dilute my essential lemon oil when I apply it to my skin. Most, if not all essential oils need to be diluted before applying directly to the skin, and this does a fine job.

Bonus: I am confident in the products I make using this oil, because it never goes rancid. I don’t have to worry that one of the scrubs I give as a gift will start to smell foul. How embarrassing would that be!

Overall, this is a great product and it has a very long shelf life – YAY! I love a product that gives me time to use it and stays good to the last drop. It makes for a great moisturizer for the skin without any harmful effects. With so many uses, it would be great to keep a bottle on your shelf. I may even start using it on my hair as it is said to promote and stimulate hair growth.
