I’m reviewing something a little different this time – Syono Orthotics Gel Insoles for women (and men), which I received free in exchange for a review. Having flat feet, I’m in need of arch support, and having gone through an extremely painful bout of plantar fasciitis, I thought trying these would be beneficial. Let’s find out.
Disclosure: I received this product in exchange for an honest review. I did not receive financial compensation for this post and this review is 100% my own honest opinion, however, this post may contain affiliate links. See full disclosure here..
Syono Orthotics Gel Insoles shoe inserts are made for men and women and are designed for everyday use. Built to offer arch and heel support, they help to relieve pain and pressure in the feet, heels, ankles, knees and hips. In one of my many trades I work for an orthopaedic surgeon as a “Healthcare Language Specialist” 🙂 so I know the importance of well made orthotics.
Syono Orthotics Gel Insoles Review
I have to admit to the old cliche and tell you up front that the dog ate my homework. Well, Butters didn’t really eat the insoles, but he did tear up the packaging, hence the reason for the lack of a photo. Guess it was my fault for forgetting that paper is part of his diet!
I cut the soles to fit my size, but they still looked quite long.
I tried them in my favorite boots and walked for most of the day. Before the end of the day I was pulling the insoles out of my boots, because they were sliding and making my feet very uncomfortable. I don’t know if it was the fact that I was wearing boots with heels that caused the insoles to slide forward into the toe box, so I decided to give them another chance.
I then placed them in a pair of flats – and I mean flats. I usually hate wearing them, because my flat feet spread in the arch area and I just don’t like the look. I wear them because they’re comfortable.
The insoles did not slide around and offered good support to my heels, and the gel did feel good when I first started walking about. However, they really were not helpful for my arches – the place where I need the most support.
I then stuck them inside my around-the-house shoes where they have remained. They will be good for that purpose, offering decent heel support, but I don’t think I will use them for strutting about in my regular shoes.
My experiences with the Syono Orthotics Gel Insoles may be very different from others, but if you are looking for great heel support, these should work well. If you are interested in ordering a pair for yourself you can purchase them on Amazon or click the link below (affiliate link).
