Having used Pure Body Naturals Lemon Essential Oil recently (read full review here), I thought it would be a bonus to try their Peppermint Essential Oil as well. They were very generous to offer me a bottle for free in exchange for my use and review, and I’ve found that it is just as “essential” to keep around the house as the lemon oil and
After doing a bit of reading, I found that peppermint oil can be used for a variety of applications. It has been used to clear congestion, freshen breath, lessen nausea and stomach upset, and much more. I love using foot scrubs, lotions and soaps made with peppermint. You’re probably familiar with Castille soap with peppermint – I used to use it all the time – wonder why I stopped! . Not only is peppermint refreshing, I love to smell it, especially during times when I am fighting allergies or colds. I take a whiff and it opens up my nasal passages so I can breath again!
Pure Body Naturals Peppermint Essential Oil is 100% pure and natural, cold pressed, and can be used for aromatherapy as well as many household/holistic purposes. Surprisingly, you can even use peppermint oil to control pests around the house. No more time to waste – let’s get inside this bottle.
Pure Body Naturals Peppermint Essential Oil Review
Pure Body Naturals Peppermint Essential Oil comes in a large brown 4-oz bottle, shipped with a screw cap and includes a nice long glass dropper. I’m not surprised by the delightful scent of peppermint when I open the bottle and I can’t wait to use it.
When washing my hands, I would always reach for my reserve of used coffee grounds and a bit of soap, which leaves my hands feeling soft. Being a fan of mint chocolate, and already working on my sugar scrubs, I decided to try another one using the peppermint oil and coffee. The caffeine in coffee is known to stimulate and tighten the skin, and diminish cellulite. I’m not a doctor and I don’t play one on TV, but many on the world wide web tout these benefits.
When making this for myself, I use dry recycled ground coffee, but for friends and family I use fresh ground.

Now you’ve got a great sugar scrub that you can use on your hands, feet and body. I use it in the shower with hot water (to help dissolve the sugar) and it’s refreshing and rejuvenating!
Bonus use: I also read where peppermint oil can help keep critters at bay, especially mice. I live in an area where field mice like to get out of the cold in the winter, resulting in a small invasion of my little storage house outside. That just can’t happen!
I took a bunch of cotton balls and added some of the essential oil and placed them near the doors where I know they are getting in. I don’t have any results to report as of yet, but I can say that it smells fresher out there already. I will update you if I find any conclusive results.
Overall, Pure Body Naturals Peppermint Essential Oil is one of the better ones I have used and it doesn’t come in one of those very expensive 10-ml bottles. This is going to go well with my DIY recipes. It’s a great product and I think you will enjoy it. Order yours on Amazon today. You won’t find a better deal!
