I love lemon, and I use it every day in some shape or form – zest in my food, juice in my drink – you name it I use it. I was asked to try Pure Body Natural Lemon Essential Oil in exchange for a review and I want to share all of the benefits you can get from this essential oil.

Lemon oil has a naturally refreshing and uplifting citrus aroma that awakens the senses and clears the mind, and also helps with weight loss and metabolism. Simply add a few drops of lemon oil in a hot drink or a glass of water to energize and cleanse the body of toxins. It also adds great flavor. Lemon essential oil can also be used for aromatherapy, cleaning and freshening around the house. It is also great for fighting fevers and colds too. Imagine all that power in one little bottle.
Pure Body Naturals Lemon Essential Oil Review
Essential oils are making their way into my life more and more, but admittedly I never really thought about ingesting them and come to think of it, I don’t know why. Well then, here’s to trying anything once.
I’ve learned that lemon oil is one of the most “essential” oils to have around the house. It can do a bunch of things – things I would have never dreamed of, such as being used in household cleaners, cellulite creams, face washes, and also as a teeth whitener.
I remember using a certain lemon oil furniture polish back in the day and how well it cleaned, so I decided to put Pure Body Natural Lemon Essential Oil through the paces in a couple of different applications.
First I made a lemon sugar scrub for my family for Christmas. Using sugar, lemon zest, and olive oil, I added about 7-10 drops of the oil to the mix. The lemon oil really punched up the smell of the scrub without an overwhelming lemon scent. It smells so good on my hands after I use the scrub and it was very well received by the family too.
Time to do some laundry – ugh! With these new HE washing machines you have to keep them clean, or they will make your clothes and the machine smell horrific. HE machine cleaning agents are really expensive, so I wanted to see if it could freshen the beast (I HATE LAUNDRY) machine. I added my clothes with a few drops of the lemon oil. When I removed the clothes after purposely letting them sit a bit, they smelled fresh – terrific!
Next up: let’s try it on some silver jewelry. I grabbed my favorite hammered thumb ring band and put a few drops of oil on a cloth and started cleaning. My silver ring was shining like new when I finished. Sick! No more foil and baking soda concoctions. Now I can give my jewelry a quick clean anytime I want.
Bonus – for a great household disinfectant, mix 40 drops of lemon oil with 20 drops of tea tree oil in a 16-oz spray bottle. Fill it with water and a splash of white vinegar and get to cleaning! It left my countertops smelling fresh and clean. Actually it left the whole kitchen smelling so fresh and so clean! 🙂 Cut the recipe in half and use in an 8-oz bottle and keep it in the bathroom for quick cleanups.
If I told you every way this oil can be used, we would both be here for quite a while. One little bottle – so many uses. Pure Body Natural Lemon Essential Oil is a great product and is going to prove to be very useful around my house in more ways than I can count. It’s 100% natural and cold pressed from real lemons. Although it comes in a large 4-oz bottle with a glass dropper and cap, I know it won’t last very long because I can use it for almost everything. I would highly recommend it, so why not grab yourself a bottle today – you can purchase yours on Amazon.
