It’s that time again my people. . .Big Brother 16 Updates & Spoilers Weekend Wrap 9/14
I’m going to make this post a bit shorter than usual (yeah right), because this girl has been sick this weekend, so let’s get right to it shall we?
Thursday was a bit anticlimactic as there was no eviction, but we already knew that was coming. The rewind was in force and the HOH was replayed. Caleb came up with the win. I didn’t watch BBAD that night, because I knew not much was going to go down other than planning. However, chatter about putting Frankie on the block ensued. Like Derrick and Cody, I wasn’t sure if Caleb would hold true to his past word and throw Frankie on the block. The three, Derrick, Cody and Caleb (DC&C) began to devise a plan as to the reason why Caleb was going to put Frankie up and what he would say after the fact.
I returned to BBAD on Friday night to find that Caleb had indeed put Frankie on the block next to Victoria. Apparently, Caleb did not have a conversation with Frankie before putting him up, which completely annoyed Frankie. This brings us to a most interesting conversation between Caleb and Frankie at the pool table. This was a long conversation, so I’m giving you the Readers Digest condensed version
Frankie tells Caleb that he is testing him by putting him on the block. Caleb denies this. He tells Frankie that he did not want to put Cody up again seeing as he was just on the block, and he thought it would be unfair to put Derrick up, because he had to sit out of both HOH competitions and didn’t have a chance to fight to save himself. Frankie starts to proclaim how he has done everything in his power to keep all of them safe (by his own hand, with no help at all, because he is so fabulous – not verbatim, but you get the gist).
He goes on to say that the money is not important to him. Loyalty and trust are most important to him in the game. (Funny, because he was not very loyal to Zach, granted Zach did stir up a lot of stuff, but where was the loyalty about which he speaks?)
Caleb calls him on this and says “Frankie, you literally went to everyone and told them to put us (DC&C) on the block. Frankie glosses over this and keeps going on about how much he has done to keep them all safe, and how he proved himself during his HOH week. He tells Caleb that once he is out of the house and watches the show, he will know just how much Frankie did to save all of the guys. Frankie tells Caleb that he is really surprised that he did not come to him and have a conversation before putting him up. Oh well, what’s done is done.
Throughout the night, all houseguests are studying the memory wall, because we all know the morph competition was to be repeated for veto.
Of note, before the conversation with Caleb, Frankie had a conversation with Derrick, who keeps Frankie thinking that he is all about Team America. Frankie continues to whine about going up, and Derrick keeps reassuring him (falsely) that he is just the pawn and he will stay for F4.
Another conversation of note: Frankie comes out of the diary room, and he can be heard sniffling/crying and sitting in front of the memory wall. Derrick is then called to the DR while Frankie is whispering for him to get up and go in the DR and crush it. When Derrick returns, we learn that Team America has another challenge (I don’t remember a vote, but I could be wrong). The new “mission” is for at least one member of TA to make it to the end and they will win an extra 50K.
Frankie believes that they got this mission because we – America – really love him, and his public image is so very important to him (hence the reason for his tears of supposed joy). Derrick keeps up the charade, telling Frankie that there is no way they won’t get to the end together. Frankie tells Derrick that if he (Frankie) were to win BB, he will then give the 50K to Derrick for a grand total of 100K. Derrick says “I’m down”. I found it quite interesting that Derrick never really reciprocated this deal back to Frankie, and it didn’t seem as if Frankie caught on to this fact.
Saturday is veto day. Everyone studies up until post time. Feeds come back and the winner is. . .
Cody!
Results show that Victoria actually did better than Frankie this time around. Derrick came in second, not sure where Caleb and Frankie placed, but it didn’t matter, because Cody put in a blazing time of 2:21!
In self-deprecating fashion, Frankie tells everyone that he sucks – it was actually more graphic language than that, but I’m not going there. “How do I go from winning HOH and VETO to sitting on the block”? -It’s called Big Brother, that’s how!-
DC&C are thrilled. The plan is finally going to work. However, Beast Mode Caleb states that he wants it to be a 1-1 vote so that he can send Frankie packing. Cody is dead set against it. Derrick the voice of reason says that it would make them all look like d-bags, but if they want to sit down with Frankie before eviction and tell him that he is going home, they can do that.
In my opinion, Caleb is so easily swayed, if Frankie got in his ear, I could see him casting the tie-breaking vote to send Victoria home over Frankie. Derrick and Cody are not even going to risk this happening. They both know Caleb is loyal to a fault, and Frankie is a great convincer/manipulator.Â
Obviously, Frankie is worried, but trying to play it cool. Â Victoria and Derrick are still acting as if Victoria is not speaking with him, so this plan is still in effect. Â No one has caught on just yet. Cody claims to be frustrated with Caleb and Victoria is frustrated with Cody (Oh boy).
Over the weekend, the former Houseguest made an appearance in the house for a special luxury competition. They were allowed to first go in and destroy the house, and then they competed for 5K. Each jury member was teamed up with one of the final five players, although they final five did not compete. Â Hayden was paired with Victoria and won the competition, but was very upset to learn that he had won money for Victoria. Â We will get to see this competition, I’m guessing on Sunday night’s episode.Â
I promised you a short post, but once I get going. . .I’m gone! Â Sunday we should see the repeat HOH comp, and probably the repeat veto competition as well as the veto ceremony. I will admit, I am not sure how they are going to break this all down, because Tuesday is a special eviction, and Wednesday is another live eviction (two players gone next week). With that said, which two players do you think will be F2? Who do you want to be in F2? Should Victoria be floated along to F2? Â Let’s dish and discuss!Â
