The Weekend Wrap

Things have been heating up in the house. Let’s get to the Big Brother 16 updates and spoilers in this quick post.

No pics today peeps.  Just all news.  I wanted to get this out before it becomes irrelevant. On Friday night we learned that Derrick’s grandfather passed away.  The timing of this is incredible seeing that Frankie’s grandfather had just passed away about two days earlier. Everyone rallied around Derrick, including Frankie who again thanked him for giving up the HOH so that he could see his grandfather. It was a sad scene.  Derrick, while talking to Victoria, questioned his decision to throw HOH to Frankie, but Derrick is a “what’s done is done” type of guy.  He said he would not focus on that and would continue to play the game. He suggested that Victoria do the same, as she continues to cry to everyone about going up on the block.

The nomination ceremony took place and Frankie put up Jocasta and Victoria, and Zach put up Christine and Nicole.  Zach started complaining  after he won HOH, about Christine needing to take one for the team, and that she has not done anything for the alliance. Christine in turn got pissed off at Zach for saying this and for telling Nicole that she should not trust Christine any more.  During the nomination ceremony Zach called Christine a floater and Nicole a Fuitloop dingus!  The three of them eventually “made up”, although Christine still does not like Zach as a person.  I happen to agree that Christine should take one for the so-called alliance.  I mean there are hardly any people left to choose from, not to mention the fact that the whole house has been voting unanimously from the beginning, and she has done absolutely nothing.  Ugh.

Frankie wanted to remain HOH for the week and told Christine and Nicole that they have to win BOB, which they did, leaving Frankie as the sole HOH for the week.  The plan is to backdoor Amber this week, but Frankie wanted to let Caleb know before the vote so that he would not go all Beastmode Cowboy on the house.  Caleb is still pining for Amber, hot one day and cold the next.  He thinks that Amber owes him her life in this game, and pretty much after this game too.  He got upset that Amber was walking around the house not speaking to him, so he comes up with a plan to get Amber nominated to scare her into getting back on course with the alliance, but not voting her out.  However, this plan is perfect for Frankie, because he was afraid to tell Caleb that Amber was indeed going up on the block.  He is letting Caleb think that he is the Cowboy genius who came up with the plan.  Caleb wants Amber to get scared and come running to him to save her this week. Amber said that if she is backdoored this week she will out the alliance.  Caleb says if she rats them out, then they will vote her out. Little does he know that Amber will indeed be voted out.

As for the Team America challenge, Zach is pretty much playing right into our hands, saying he will cause sparks by doing what he did to Nicole and Christine at the nomination ceremony.  The goal is to get two people to argue, so we will see if they can win this one.  It will be tricky, but Zach is surely making it possible unknowingly.

Time for the veto comp.  The players were Frankie, Jocasta, Victoria, Hayden, Christine and Donny.  Hayden won the veto comp.  Amber tried to convince Hayden not to use the veto, because she feels she is going to be backdoored.  Hayden fed her a few lies like “I don’t know what I’m going to do yet”.  Frankie asked Hayden if he would take Jocasta off the block, but Hayden had already promised Victoria the prize.

In other news about the house, as I stated before, Caleb is just pathetic in his puppy sick love state.  He has even tried to get Cody and Zach to talk to Amber and tell her that she needs to talk to him, and not just in passing.  She needs to pull him into the Beehive room and have a conversation.  WOW!

Cody is becoming quite the ladies man, and rumor has it that Christine’s husband has tweeted that he is not very happy with the way Christine is cozying up to Cody.  Zach is a bit of a loose cannon, but for some reason I like this kid.  It seems that for right now, Derrick and Cody could be the next Memphis and Dan – not quite as slick, but Derrick is really in a lot of control right now, and I don’t think anyone is the wiser.
